QUICK HUMMUS WITH VEGETABLE STICKS

- 400g can of chick peas drained
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves of garlic crushed
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 4 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp extra vigin olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- Veg sticks raw for mummy
- Veg sticks cooked for baby

Quick Hummus is rich in protein, fibre and healthy fats and does not contain any added solid fats, refined sugar or starches.
Hummus makes a great fulfilling tasty snack and is suitable for mummy and baby and any other family members to keep hunger at bay.
- Drain the chick peas and rinse
- Combine all other ingredients in a food processor and blend to a creamy paste
- Add more lemon juice, cumin and garlic to taste
- Turn out in to a bowl ready for dipping with veg sticks
- Chop up carrots with skin on, broccoli and peppers to dip in your hummus
- Boil a few chopped up carrots and broccoli for 10 minutes for baby and rinse with cool water before serving as finger food with hummus
